Sad Mini Mancat Monday Night

Rest in peace, tiny Baby-Dot! We loved you.

He died while nursing from the bottle at 8:15 pm tonight (Monday night). We were at my work; I had taken both tiny ones along because I knew they would need to be fed after my two classes. At home, at the same time, Skylar woke up from a nap and came out to Scott; he knew something had happened.

We buried Baby-Dot in the backyard by Lydia and Sara Princess Kitty.

Rest in peace, Baby-Tuxie! We loved you, too.

Baby-Tuxie joined his brother at 1:30 am (Tuesday). I took him out of the box to feed him, and he was having trouble breathing, just like his brother had. Scott held him while he died, and we both let him know we loved him. We buried him by his brother.

Their Catster page is here.

  1. I am so sorry the babies had to go to the Bridge. But I am glad they knew love and care during their short lives.

  5. Bless your heart for caring so for these tiny bundles of purrr. It was such a brave battle to try to survive without a mommy cat to teach them. Thank you for loving them. I am so sorry for the loss your heart feels now.

  8. Oh, we're so sorry to see that the little kitties have both gone to the Bridge. They were so little. It must have been very hard for you guys to lose them. Thank you for looking after them and loving them, so at least they went to the Bridge knowing human kindness.

  13. Oh, I am so sorry that those adorable little ones have left this earth. When we lose new life I am reminded how fragile our tenure is here in this world. But when little ones are lost, so is the promise of what they could have been and that saddens my heart immensely.
