Inside for a while

Starla writes:

*Yawn and stretch* That was a good, loooooooooong nap! Foster Daddy brought me inside this morning because I guess tomorrow Smokey and I go in to the vet. When I came in, I was sooooo tired from chasing off the boys. I looked at the sewing basket, and it looked awfully comfy, so I stared at Foster Daddy until he looked at me, then looked at the basket again. He said it was a kitty place, so I climbed up there and took a nap for a couple hours. When Foster Mommy woke up, she saw me there, but couldn't see my head! I'd hidden it, curled up with all four of my paws touching and my head tucked into my belly!

I'm going to be glad when this is done with. I managed to keep the boys off for most of the time, even had to swipe at them a few times. I found some pretty ingenious places to escape. The best one was when I sat on top of the tire of the wood truck. They couldn't get me at all there, so they lined up at the base of the tire waiting. Of course, there was no way I was going to come down for a while, so I just lay down on the tire and looked back at them. Orange-head kitty tried to make me come down by poking me with his front paw, trying to get me to move, but it didn't work. After a while I got bored, and the chase began again. Now, after tomorrow, I won't have to worry about the boys anymore.

Now since I'm awake, I think I'll sit back up on the sewing basket and survey my surroundings. Carbon was bouncing all over the place, but I don't know if I want to play right now. He seems a bit too hyper at the moment, although I know he considers me a friend. Rori and Tabby are interested in sniffing me, but I've had a bit too much attention lately to have them following me too. Smokey is glad I'm inside, and Skylar is pretty much unconcerned.

  5. Sorry you're going to have your surgeries today. Be sure to act real pitiful when you come home so the parents feel sorry for you and give you lots of treats.
