We had a neighbourhood cat named Tuxedo. I called him "Fingers", for no particular reason. Wherever he laid his hat was his home and he made his home in a number of peoples' houses.

Sadly, one neighbour took it upon herself to take him to the pound because he was not owned by any of us. I wanted to take him but I was too late. I never knew if he finally found a "forever home" but his winning personality would have made it a sure bet... He was one of the few cats in our neighbourhood who was welcomed by my cat and actually tolerated by him in our house.

My "frees" are up, too.

It's nice to see feral kitties who have happy lives. I hate to admit it, but it seems that behind most happy feral cats is a protective human or two. ;-)

Well, Tuxedo looks like a lovely visitor! I hope he does a good job with the mice! We have a neighbor cat who kills critters and then leaves them...

Happy Weekend!
