Make Fibromyalgia Visible!

Today is National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.  No, kitties cannot have fibromyalgia, but humans can.  Our mommy has it, and it makes her hurt sometimes.  When she's hurting, she sleeps a lot, and we curl up around her at all her sore spots, so our body heat warms her and our purring massages her sore muscles.  If your human has fibro, what do you do to help?

Many of the Woman's patients have fibromyalgia and she does acupuncture on them to help them. Her most proud moment was when a woman who had had fibro for over ten years before she moved to the area and started seeing the Woman --and saw her for her 12 insurance visits a year for about 3 years went skiing for two half days and then wasn't completely crashed after wards. They were both so thrilled. The lady with the fibro had really really missed doing that and her husband had a business trip to Sun Valley and they stayed at the lodge.

We are very sorry to hear that you Mom has that disease. We don't know much about it and our mom doesn't have it. It is about the only thing she doesn't have. That is so good of you kitties to warm up her sore spots. Good job.
Have a great day.

So sorry to hear that your mom has this disease. My mom has some good friends with it and she knows how much pain the beans can be in.
